Come to New York City in the summer of 2012 to participate in an international choir festival that will be as meaningful as it is memorable. "The Rhythms of One World" international choral festival, which will be held June 24 -July 1, 2012.

"The Rhythms of One World 2012" Festival invites youth and adult choirs from all nations that perform programs that include choral works in folklore, regional sacred, contemporary and national pop music to participate in this rare opportunity – this is your chance to get to know and experience the incredibly culturally diverse city of New York, meet other renowned choir directors, and share in the culture of fellow choristers from the world over. Sing in the UN and other world-class venues in New York City and be part of celebrating cultural diversity and mutual understanding through choral singing.

Festival Programme

Sunday, June 24, 2012 – Arrive New York City. Check in your festival hotel. Attend the festival orientation.

Monday, June 25, 2012 – Rehearsals, Festival Welcome Dinner (B, D)
Participate in "The Rhythms of One World" International Choral Festival director's luncheon. Prepare for rehearsals at festival venues. In the afternoon attend the Festival Press Conference. Tonight, attend a welcome dinner with all participating Festival Choirs.

Tuesday, June 26, 2012 – Festival Opening Concert (B, D)
Arrive the United Nations in the mid-afternoon for a guided tour of this peacemaking institution. Prepare for your evening performance at "The Rhythms of One World" International Choral Festival Opening Concert at United Nations Headquarters shared with other choirs.

Wednesday, June 27, 2012 – Festival Concerts (B, D)
Perform or attend Festival Concert throughout New York City. Guided sightseeing tours of the Big Apple possible today.

Thursday, June 28, 2012 – Festival Concerts, Festival Choirs Exchange (B, D)
Perform or attend Festival Concert throughout New York City. Guided sightseeing tours of the Big Apple possible today. In the mid-afternoon, prepare for an artistic exchange with all Festival Choirs, followed by a dinner reception.

Friday & Saturday, June 29 & 30, 2012 – Festival Concerts (B, L, D)
Perform or attend Festival Concert throughout New York City.

Sunday, July 1, 2012 – Depart for home (B)
